GHOSTWIRE v0.6.0 Stable
released this
2026-10-05 09:36:03 +00:00 | 3 commits to main since this releaseSettings in clear groups, the log on its own page, and cleanup for the config copies updates leave behind.
Changes
- Settings in groups: Access (users, sign-in, iOS app and API tokens), Web interface (address and HTTPS), Logs & history and Upkeep (updates, backup). Each card says whether it saves right away, needs Save, or needs a restart.
- Session length moved to Sign-in and no longer asks for a restart; it applies from the next sign-in.
- Log level, log size and traffic history share one card; the country and network lookup is its own switch.
- New Log page in the sidebar with the full log, a filter for changes only, and refresh every 10 seconds. The Dashboard's Log link opens it.
- Old config copies: Settings → Upkeep → Backup & restore lists the
config.json.bak-*files thatupdateleaves behind and removes one or all of them. They hold the same secrets as a backup, so removing them needs a signed-in user and is logged.GET|DELETE /api/v1/update-backupsandDELETE /api/v1/update-backups/{name}. updatekeeps only the newest 3 config copies, and a copy that would overwrite an older one (version unknown, or the same version twice) gets the time appended instead.- The backup card now says that a backup also contains preshared keys and authenticator app secrets.
Update
Copy the binary for your server to it and run, as root:
